March 2010

• Easter Celebration - 30 people enjoyed the gospel meaning of Easter, presented by Jamie Watson and Belinda Pope on Saturday March 29th from 11am-2pm.  15 children, who's parent or parents are incarcerated attended the celebration.  The children and adults enjoyed a hot dog cookout, played games, and received an Easter basket. Each family also received a box of food.  Some extra Easter baskets were donated to the Domestic Violence Shelter.
• March 7-14th:  A week of Prayer for North American Mission A list of North American missionaries was distributed to church members for specific prayer requests during the week.

January 2010

• $800 was collected on a Wednesday night mission meal to help support a mission trip to Nicaragua. Audrey and Ashley Watson from our church went on the mission trip.

December 2009

4. 33 youth/adults traveled to Durham to work at the Durham Rescue Mission, Dec 23, 2009.  128 people accepted the Lord!

2. Plans started for possible Romania mission trip – Summer 2010
3. Successful Trunk or Treat
